Long Time Coming!

Success! Finally seems like everything is coming together. I have new eyes, which are amazing. I couldn't be more happy with them. I am actually seeing better than 20/20 now. I re-applied to YES Youngdo and the HR rep is calling me tonight for an interview!! I have all my paper ordered and expect them to be in within a couple of weeks and all there is left to do is make a trip to a lawyer and the korean consulate to get my documents notarized. Wow. Everyone has to wish me luck on my interview tonight! In the meantime, so I don't go crazy I might work for a cleaning company. If all goes well I won't leave for korea until the 28th of february so I definitely need something to do to fill in my days and also a little extra cash never hurt!
I have been getting alot of questions about korea, living and working there and thought I would share some interesting info with everyone.
The currency is the won. The conversion is every american dollar equals 1,100 won approx.
I would get paid a monthly salary of 2-2.4 million won which is about $1750 a month. I don't pay for housing costs either and my flight is paid to and from south korea! My work week has me teaching 30 hours of class from 4-10pm. They pay for half my medical, I get severance if I complete my year and 10 days paid holidays plus national holidays.
Not a bad gig at all!! I am really excited. I will post in a couple of days let everyone know how my interview went. I have a really good feeling!!

Yay.
